All caught on a 3wt euro and 6lb tippet… I’ve always been of the opinion that the weight of the rod had more to do with the size of the fly you cast with it, not the size of the fish you catch with it… btw the chinook and the sockeye were unintentional bycatches….

Fish the Green and be happy… The Yak is a fine river, but IMO the Green is on another level…. Fished it 3 times with different guides (had a client in SLC who liked to fish), section was chosen due to conditions at the time…. But all 3 trips were awesome….

I've been using your wading staff for a couple years now....it has hundreds of miles of river on it by now....I kept busting through the rubber stoppers on the bottom...and after replacing them several times, I just use it with out the stopper..... but it's still going strong Contrast this with...
