Don’t over think send or drop off you your rod, and I will trade tuna loins for repair.😀

Just take the foot and reinsert it and use some UV to tack it in place. And then at the end of the season send it in for repair. Also this is an easy repair if you have the equipment. If you want get the thread that matches and I can repair it for you but my costs are scary😀

Depending on the hide I will put paper towels with the hide up and then use phone books or something with some weight to hold it down. Also some times I will staple them down. Recently I dyed some JC skins and the shrunk some but by putting weight on them they stayed flat.

Great write up and I have fished with Jack and his son John mainly dory fishing. Definitely one of the nicest people I have met and hope to get out on the water with him again. I saw Jack out on the big blue last Saturday but they went in before we did and didn’t get a chance to say hi.

Just got in weather was perfect conditions but the water temps jumped 5% which put the bait rockfish and coho down. We were able to find cooler water for coho which ended up being close to shore which is rare. This should definitely help bring the tuna in closer.

Well the rockfish and coho like my imitation, which at first I thought would be to small. Lots of coho around and the guides are saying the tuna are still sparse.

My first attempts definitely rough but I think they will work.

I plan on doing some high speed trolling on Saturday when we run from one spot to another with some big stuff. Just packed up the 14 wght and the Pacific and the big bugs.

Looks like we’re going to hit inshore for 2 days and if things play out I will do some prospecting for tuna. I will wrap up some bugs tomorrow and planning on rigging up the big guns for tuna hopefully the blue type:)

Have you guys heard of the widow rockfish that the fish down south have keyed in on. This may be an inshore thing but now in need to hit the bench.
