    Official 2024 NFL Season Discussion

Internet trolls don't exist without thinned skinned folks who get sad from internet comments. They are two peas on a pod. So it's debatable what's worse.

    Official 2024 NFL Season Discussion

You heard it here first: Lions firm up their defense and beat the Cleveland browns in the super bowl. Honestly, it's not that fat fetched if Cleveland can stay healthy at QB and run game lol. Also kelce cheats on swift, maybe with a dude. They break up and swift starts dating Messi. So...

Stonefly Nymphs - Weighted or Not?

Nymphing isn't my thing usually, aka I get terribly frustrated at how terrible I am at casting with weighted flies. But I am awesome at finding the bottom and donating flies to river systems. Stoneflies are the only thing I can consistently catch fish on under the water. I also use beaded and...

    What's in your vise?

Sorry, off topic from flies a little. I've been researching these fowl lately. Seems the scarcity of capes, i assumed was due to endangerment of habitat or whatever...due actually to cross breading with domestic stock in Phillipines, Hawaiia, ect. Not much pure lines left. Also breeding in...

    Five stages of fishing

It's all in my mood and location. And budget lol. If it's a new place, I'm just hoping it's productive and I catch any and all fish. If it's the spokane river, I just hope i catch 1 fish of any size and don't have to fight a bum or get a ticket cause I forgot my discovery pass in another rig...

    NFR Storage Sheds

I'm always a fan of building myself. It's my go to. But why have a shed when you can have a house....thats probably lower quality than a shed lol. Cool concept. They show up in a box, and pop out to larger size. Besides Amazon is a local business, right? Im not recommending. Just a cool...

    NFR Mike Tyson

Poster boy for physcadelic therapy....debatable at least. Although I think he has some money invested in these things also. Don't think it's a mirage of peacefullness, but I never assume much anymore.

    What's in your vise?

Thank you all. I think one issue is these feathers were too large for what I needed. They over power the squirrel wrap i already had. Had a small dubbing bump behind, but not enough. I pull the feathers downward from the tip before tying in, and try to preen. Obviously I still need practice...

    What's in your vise?

Messing around with squirrel zonkers and a new hen cape. Not sure I'm a huge fan of hen compared to other birds for soft hackle. Fibers clump together.

    Maxxon Widgeon raft?

I have a catchercraft frame on a maxxon. No reservations about it, would buy another maxxon. Only had it a year, but nothing but praise on my end. I can't speak on the oarlock situation. But the raft will nice.

    What's in your vise?

Big fat fly. Not perfect, but feel it's above my skill level and it turned out decent. Elk hair post Moose hair tail Squirrel body Grizzly hackle Half the fly was stolen from Charlie craven video, but changed up the body tp dubbing as I couldn't hack his moose hair body

    What's in your vise?

Agreed on the biot being too long. I'll chop it down. Probably means my tail on the other fly is too long also. The age old question of function/does it catch fish vs "but this one looks pretty" lol. Bug seems thin but wide. So if we really want to mimic, how do we achieve? (Wire tied on...

    Tree damage question

What is their reasoning for only replacing half the roof? Even 3 tab shingles generally carry a minimum of a 15 year warranty. Sometimes more. If they cite age of roof, I'd bring this up. Good luck

    What's in your vise?

Practicing double bead stones. Earlier rendition I tried. I tied it a little too narrow, among a few other issues. But like the concept, just need to tinker.
