I go both ways on that one....even though I voted for leech on top....often, the leech prefers to be on the bottom.

Eh, some of my more recent ones are A. Not proven necessarily and B. Look like shit. Then again, most of my best producing patterns aren't all that aesthetically pleasing (this goes for all species I tie for.)

Hmm, I have a few carp flies tied up on some ahrex jig hooks. May have to play around. I use mostly gami egg hooks (down to 10 seem strong enough), am searching for a solid jigged option.

I dunno, looks rather burly to me as far as small jig hooks go.
