An 8 wt is very useful here for coho. Yucatan permit, baby tarpon, and snook. For me, I'm learning any fish feels good on a the properly weighted rod and line.....the salt water reel though.....that's important! A reel that binds up or gets sticky during a run....geez. They get whacked...
