Many Rock Creeks, Blue and clear lakes. This is not that Rock Creek with steelhead size brown and rainbows. Someone I know has fished that one and the locals were very angry that an outsider had found "their" creek.

Not a very good pic, but you can see the vegetation and slime at the Rock Creek boat ramp. In hindsight maybe I should have tried it. Does the heavy slime/vegetation attract bass?

Bassin is fun. Gonna try my luck this week over at Evergreen reservoir and surrounding lakes. Hope not to get eaten up by ticks. I can handle rattlesnakes, but ticks are evil the way they crawl under socks or underwear. Yikes

Thanks, well worth the gas and time. Did way better on hooking fish than I expected. Camping and scenery are first rate, too.

I feel the same way about small streams. And your small streams hold lunker 9 inch trout vs the average 5 or 6 inch trout on the wet side. I enjoy fishing with you immensely, thank you for sharing your slice of small stream nirvana!!!
