Recreational catch plays a minor role in that every fish that escapes is being caught at least once in many of these systems. I’m for restricting guides, but it’s spitting in the wind unless you tackle the biggest issue with many of these rivers. That huge issue is the loss of early returning...

If you’re doing heart rate training make sure to get either a chest or upper arm strap heart rate monitor. Watch based monitors are garbage, especially running as they will often get locked into cadence.

Hard to imagine big bull trout from the upper Fraser wouldn't have gotten that big from eating all of the salmon based food from the upper Fraser (fry, eggs, and flesh) than making the effort to travel all the way to the estuary and then back up through the canyon.

That’s a sweet ride. A walk around pilot house is the ultimate PNW rough water, offshore fly fishing boat. Can only imagine how well that will ride with an extra 5-6 ft of length.

This x 100 is my experience as well when I was younger. Could have been where I was living but the primary focus was on resident trout in lakes in the land of salmon, steelhead and sea-run cutthroat.

I remember way back in the late 90’s fighting for wild release that the opponents of wild release always brought up April fishing, in that if we cared about wild steelhead why were we fishing that late? I guess we both won 😉

He lost it well before this game. His MVP win was based somewhat on the Bills offense outperforming preseason expectations. This year the expectations were super high and the offense is underperforming. If the Bills had a functioning defense they might have had a chance at the division but...

Also, my original post was about what the new Seahawks coach has done without a MVP caliber QB compared to McDermott in Buffalo… so the comparison was Darnold vs Allen. Darnold just showed he’s the QB that shits the bed in big games.

Now it’s four INT’s. I think he’s out of the race and looks like he did the last two games of last season. Better than Geno, but not gonna win you a championship (I hope that ages badly😉).
