Happy to report that it does very well with a four weight line, even out to 60' for me. The standard MF76 rods were labeled as HDH line which I typically think of as a six, while these MF76L rods were labeled as HEH which I normally think of as a true five weight. But a four did just fine.

I’ll try a four weight line and report back…
