I'm confident @iveofione would make an attempt to return a found item if identified, and if it weren't for this thread I would have never thought of using a QR code to identify my gear. It intrigues me since it would be small, neat, and could hold a large amount of info.....and possible not...

I am digitally challenged. My daughter showed me a site where I can get my own QR code for free. I think I could just print these off and affix them to my gear with a message and any contact info I want to include. Is there a disadvantage to this that anyone is aware of? Thanks, Mark

Welcome. I love that area and all its beaches and rivers. I will have to stop by next time I'm down there. I'll definitely get a couple flies. Mine seem to have only a so so attraction to the steelhead in those rivers : ).
