I thought the end of that game was fitting…never been a fan of Beck as a player. I’m sure he’s a great kid but he’s a very so-so QB.

The first game was 21-19 and the second was 38-37…that seems about as evenly matched as you could get. That first game also had 4 Hawks TO’s and missed a FG on the final play. That game could have easily ended 22-21 and Hawks fans would be saying, “it’s hard to beat a team 3 times in a row”. 😂...

Maybe IU is on to something…buy the best staff you can. Most of the money discussion in regards to college football has revolved around buying a roster of players. IU is not in the top 10 of money spent on players but it sounds like you’re saying they have paid their coaches well.

On the TD run by Beck? I’d have to go back and look at the play to see what O’l Miss was in defensively but inside the 10 almost everyone plays man on the back end and that leaves nobody for the QB. Especially considering how ineffective O’l Miss had been defending the run. All 6 box players...

Think about this for a minute…when Carson Beck entered college do you think he ever considered that there was a 5th grader that would end up being his #1 target in the CFP semi-final game? Beck is a 7 year senior and Tony reclassified to go to college early. Tony was 17 when the season started.
