Getting used to the new singer in Big Big Train on the current release The likes of us. Not a strong as the last one but otherwise an excellent replacement.
This reminds me of a time at DFL when I climbed the path from the parking lot to a cliff overlooking the far side of the lake that afforded a clear view of the lake bottom. There I saw a small pod of aggressive trout displaying spawning behavior over the only visible patch of gravel. Was a real...
Living here in Washington, I generally try to avoid the Jersey Turnpike 😅 but I didn't suggest that it always works, just that it's the only strategy that has any type of effective value. For instance, just adding lanes tends to make the gridlock bigger. I know this because I-5 in North Portland...
Unfortunately, the sad fact is that tolls are the only known method to control gridlock that actually works. And yeah, it impacts the less well off in a bigger way and redirects traffic through more occupied neighborhoods, reducing pedestrian safety but consider this. In most cases these are...
Couple of points to make here:
1 Had a Steelers fan at work who was irritated whenever I called them the Pissburg Squeelers.
2 Russ had a decent year passing, statistically.
3 He doesn't need a big contract as Denver is on the hook for his salary for the next two years to the tune of nearly...
I personally think taggers should be paid for the work they do on hideous Rustoleum painted boxcars. My (former) job overlooked a rail yard and saw some really impressive art, and it is art, as I don't think you can make those things any uglier.☺
I also think a contributing factor is that with the lack of an enforcement oversight, people feel that they can do anything as long as they don't get caught. I see this on constant basis nearly every time when out driving.
A perfect monument to humanity's impact on earth. True brutal truth, during the covid crisis a milestone was passed, that being there are now more human-made features on earth than there are natural ones. Something to consider.
Was easily 100+ birds flying in a loose flocking manner, first flying south and then reversing, close enough to fill my entire field of vision and when they left the sky cleared in seconds.
I stand corrected, the proper nomenclature should have read just Canada geese. I think I was blindsided by Spellchecker.😅
Also, as I live less than 300 miles from Canada and square in the middle of the Pacific Flyway, there's a real chance that they were Canadian.😉
After viewing a newsfeed on the Oklahoman foot-licking incident, I was left with two questions:
What's more disgusting, licking someone's foot or having a stranger lick your foot?
and
Was there any consideration given to the possibility of epic outbreak of foot-licking addiction?😞
Wish I had a camera. Was just watching a huge gaggle of Canadian geese flying over my house (I live within a quarter-mile of a large shallow lake), looked like a scene from The Birds. Pretty spectacular.
Definitely right on track with Aristocrats assessment. Favorites so far as song titles go are 'Hey, where's my drink package?' and 'This is not scrotum'. Guthrie Govan ranks right near the top of the great guitarist list and is really pushing the instrument here.
