I caught a nice chum yesterday on the Kilchis. Very strong fish. Note that they are spawning all over the place, in very shallow, very walkable, water. Watch for redds!

This weekend I went after big fish with big flies on a big lake. I caught none of them, but had some great follows and almost-bites. Very, very cold. The only thing I caught was this- Hooked exactly as shown. I think that is pretty crazy.

Cardboard worked good for me but I left it down and put dirt on top of it. Kinda depends what you want to do in the end I guess. Good luck.
