We do a single strand of lights along the front roof. Usually leave them up until February, its gets might dark and grey in the Gorge that time of year. Seems to be a growing trend on our street.

I remember Shanahan losing faith in JimmyG in the GB-SF playoff game a few years ago and I believe they only ran the ball in the second half. Quick stat check shows they ran the ball 29 times but only passed 19, each gaining 106 yards. There might have been a couple passes in the second half...

Good call for the coast. Unfortunately for us a bit east it was 60 degrees on the mountain this morning. Our "snowpack" is going backwards... If we don't get a big spring its going to get really dry out here this summer. Not great for our anadromous friends.

We got a little more than half the forecasted rain here in Hood River but the local rivers are already above what they were supposed to top out at. With another 1-2" on tap for the next 24 hours it should get interesting. Good news is not a lot of flat ground around here...

I'm mostly a 2 hander guy so I have lots of clickers, but my favorite is still the little Ross Colorado 0 on my 3wt glass. Great little reel that is going on 25 years without showing any wear. A 1 on a 4wt seems perfect.
