Rivers have rights? Who Da Thunk:

After the judge rules on rivers having rights he's going to rule on my penis being a separate entity and if I can actually be held accountable for decisions it's made on my behalf. I figure my case will set just as much useful precedence as the later and way more relevant The earth justice...

Click pawl reels are the Harley Davidson of the river

That's cause you actually fish with them rather than put them in a case next to a hardback copy of some book you didn't read.

I've gotten many to sign my petition to ban them. I'm not the only one. Noise statues are very serious things sir. You've been served

If only the EPA would come along with some sensible regulation and outlaw those loud obsolete things. Maybe a cash for clunkers.

We all know ten minutes after that photo a bobber, shot, and bead cone out.

I'm not the one out there in costume with an auditory strobe light announcing myself. The loud reel and loud pipes are like a mating call. Only thing is that it's other dudes that are attracted to it. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1aPHq9Z2k3/

Old stuff that works is cool. That's why me and my crack team are developing a click pawl muffler. Retain the cool and keep it to yourself. The click pawl muffler. No need to share the hole or the cool. Sadly it will probably be as popular as a Harley muffler or the live wire. Most guys need...

Click pawl reels are the Harley Davidson of the river

Yeah cause it's an actually good reel worth the price you pay for it. You could have wasted thousands on a museum piece that annoys the shit out of anybody in a mile radius just so you can announce you're stripping line and entering a run. Just like Harleys it's all about getting needed...

It doesn't have to be silent. But like a motor tuned and breathing right a reel should have a pleasing note when drag is being peeled. The click pawl remind me of the kids and their shitty Honda farting in a can. It's all noise and no business. My ross canyon or even the humble old CLA tells you...

Just to be fair I also don't think a blue water salt reel is needed with it's diamond impregnated titanium drag for steelhead and salmon. Neither is that overpriced grateful Dead edition Abel. I get it, you smoked weed with Jerry that one time at your cousin's friend's girls house. It still...

It's not giving a damn. It's all noise makers for me. Do you enjoy fireworks as well? Personally I feel they destroy the solitude of summer and timberland. I don't care to distinguish a husker do from a husker don't. It's all the same thing to me.

This is all fine and well but at the end of the day this nomenclature issue is only important to those who wear argyle vests when angling and perhaps a tie.

.skreeeeeeeeeeee,,,soskreeeeeeeee. It's so unneeded and unwarranted. They say loud pipes save lives. I say it's an invitation to leather clad relations in the bathroom of The Toolbox bar and grill. Loud reels? Basically the same thing with tin cloth and fancy hats.

    Freshwater coho flies

This here is sage advice. I personally opt for barbless fine wire hooks when fishing coho around heavy structure especially wood. You will eventually break the hook but you will catch more fish with your fly wet and not rigging up exhausting the contents of your fly box

Wrong! There would be no taxpayer funded ramps. You would simply rely on rugged individualism to get to the honey hole. On the flip side a tax on loud reels is something I would be for. Like a carbon tax but for infernal noise. We could call it The Smails act. Harleys would obviously be subject...
