Oh wow...so I have probably seen one of those before but didn't recognize this one as that because of its age. I didn't know what the blue dragon flies were called but I have seen them. Thanks! I like knowing those kinds of things.

That sounds like a great still water selection of bugs. I don’t fish still water but when I fish 2 nymphs I typically put the heavier fly on the bottom.

It was 100% spontaneous and 100% out of character for me. I need to be less rigid sometimes. I lead a very organized life with lots of structure. Every now and then I need to do what I want instead of what I set out to do😀

This Tom was with a hen. I almost didn’t stop to photograph him but he was so lit up I had to. Took me almost 20 minutes of cat and mouse to get a shot in the open and with the sun.

It’s been a very mild tick season in N. Idaho. I have no idea why it’s that way but it is.

I have been talking to friends about the prospects of being allergic to meat. If I had to chose between permanent Erectile dysfunction and a red meat allergy…I would need some time to think.
