Well done, my 896 has been repaired a few times in the last 6 years, most recently about a year ago maybe a little longer when they rebuilt my bottom section and I got all new cork and reel seat. So now all 4 sections are fresh. Moral of the story: Don’t let people use your XP’s 😂

The tacky 2x looks good. Is the magnetic closure trustworthy? I have some cheap swing leaf boxes for lakes and the smaller tungsten flies like chironomids wiggle out of the slotted foam a lot. The tacky boxes seem legit.

STP has a lot of solid, cheap trout patterns by the dozen if you want to fill out your boxes. For example the yellowstoner chubby by MFC is a great fly and you can get a dozen for $10. I got my order last week and everything is tip top.
