I used to get these blank bodies on eBay and paint them myself because Rapalas are expensive and you lose a few. This is a larger one for bass but you get the idea.

When I went to school there I would walk down and look for kings swimming by. I remember seeing bass spawning by the hatchery intake. I think you're better off targeting them.

Yeah, I used gsp and a new razor. After watching a few more videos I'm going to try trimming with scissors. Seems like that might give the look I'm going for. Not that it matters for fishing.
