I don't know for sure what the problem is, but it sounded like a pipe leaking and undermining the parking lot so the damage may be more extensive than meets the eye.

The Tree Point Gillnet fishery used to intercept a lot of Steelhead I don't know if they still fish there. Years ago a buddy of mine caught one there that was 40#s. I fished at Noyes Island a couple seasons and I don't remember a lot of Steelhead, but that was 45 years ago.

I would encourage any of you who live in the 40th legislative district to contact your rep ( Debra Lekanoff), and senator (Liz Lovelett), and express your concern.

No bear encounters, at least not while fishing. I did have an encounter with a bull moose in AK while fishing a creek for kings, he stepped into the river about a cast away from me. They are LARGE animals, I high booted it up the bank in a hurry!

That's for sure. I've fished in 20'ers while long lining Black Cod and Halibut on a 70' schooner, it takes it out of ya.
