This guinea fowl wandered into our yard twice this morning. He ran off the first time. The second time it ended up next to the chicken run in a pinch point. My daughter and I cornered and captured it. We are waiting to hear if any neighbors are missing one. They have odd looking faces at best.

Our longest know resident doe and her daughter Doe-Manita and Coffee. These guys allow petting if you have treats. Coffee has the darkest hide around. Especially on top of her head. Sadly her sibling Cream disappeared a few months ago.

My daughter got a couple pics of the beetle I was describing. When they fly the back upper half looks fuzzy and orange. Anybody able to ID these guys?

My daughter found this mantis when we went back to bury her buck's gut pile. We also have these black flying beetles with orange under their wings. I tried a couple times to catch a picture but they fly pretty randomly.

Was checking my trail cam that is less than 30yds from my back door. Found this guy. This might explain why we had so many house cats disappear this year. Also had a good rack shot and a funny shot looks like the deer has a bad tupe.
