I just finished "A Woman Of No Importance" by Sonia Purnell, WOW! The book is a historical documentary (with some license) about Virginia Hall and the role she played as an American in Occupied France during WW-II. A strong 4.9 out of 5 stars.

I think crows and ravens are wicked smart. Anytime my wife and I are out walking the hills or the neighborhood and there are ravens or crows nearby - I give them a little "caw" to say "hi" (not too loud, I don't want to embarrass my wife too much). I fed crows at one place we rented five...

I don't much care if someone heard me making the whistle like noise but I've pretty much stopped cawing loudly at ravens as I'm sure my neighbors think I'm a crazy old man (not far from reality). ;-) I have one of those plastic owls that I put up near our table grapes. Wasted $ buying it.
