    Was pulling weeds and noticed this little fledgling making a ruckus and getting fed by much smaller parents. Turns out it’s a brown headed cowbird being fed by the juncos. They’re nest parasites so it tracks 🫤

    Adding measure marks to rod

    I add some trim wraps of contrasting thread at an optimistic but achievable length from the butt of the rod and throw on some epoxy. Then I promptly forget the measurement, but they look slick. The silver on black is a great color combo when wrapping a rod for someone who cheers on the raiders...

    About a quarter of the can of cat food is gone after a couple of days, with no yellow jackets buzzing around. I'm assuming this is a good sign. BTW, I put it on a chair, under a milk crate with a concrete block on top to keep the cats and possums out.
