    Thank you all. Smalma I have had a section of intestine removed, that is a hard recovery. The 7 to 8 days of no food or liquids was brutal. The first drink of apple juice was the best thing I have ever tasted.

    Thank you all for your kind words. I was asked from the start how I had not felt it earlier. I have had an ICD for 16 years. I was used to a hard object in my chest.

    In Jan. my medical insurance provider sent me a Cologuard kit. I wasn't going to use the kit, I was going to demand a colonoscopy. I sent it in, it came back positive and blood in stool. I wasn't concerned much. I have had 2 colonoscopies, both found polyps and hemorrhoids. While waiting to see...

    Make sure it is made of quality steel. I bought an inexpensive one and it bent where the hitch ball was mounted.

    In winter now I wear a kayaker dry top. I cinch the neck, wrists and belt the waist. Works rather well, otherwise dunks are day enders.

    In the late 60's a friend of mine and I would climb down the almost cliffs of Malibu Creek to fish. we would get caught and run out sometimes. One day he caught a very large rainbow. later we learned that it was a steelhead. I am not proud of that behavior.
