Chemo isn't always a given with breast cancer. My mastectomy had a good clean margin. The sentinel lymph node was taken during the mastectomy showed a small trace. They are using radiation to kill any trace cells. the trick is to find the lump before it spreads into the lymph nodes.

One week after surgery I was able to get out and spey cast a few hours.

That is great news. During the prep for surgery I was injected with blue dye. Then they tracked it for several hours. It spread into the lymph system. They took samples from my armpit, waiting for results. I may need further treatment.

Just got home. Surgery wet well. Thanks to all for your well wishes and thoughts. It helps more then you know. Ed
