I have some Ahrex SA220 hooks that I like quite a bit. Damn expensive hooks though. Probably worth it since musky are musky and I only need / can fit so many musky flies with me.

I agree that some things are closed that shouldn't be. I've never gotten the impression from WDFW that they care about opportunities for recreational fishers, particularly when it comes to salmon and steelhead.

It’s part of their job to get rid of detrimental species. Just compare Lenice to how it was 20 years ago. It’s not even close; hence, it can be managed better.

My suggestion to those who believe WDFW is maximizing the potential of our lakes; go and fish some BC lakes directly over the border and then fish some Washington lakes just south of the border. Just 10 or 20, or 30 miles apart but much different in terms of quality of fish

Lenice can grow large fish, so it’s a shame in my mind to manage it as a put and take lake.
