In my experience everything works. Master 1 style/bait and then branch out if you want to challenge yourself. Fish whatever gives you the most confidence.

I made a few tube streamers and ran spinner wire through them with beads and blade at the nose. Good for the troll. Add an egg sinker, or spinner body of choice pretty good for the cast. Still refining but prototypes were productive thus far.

The posts allow more twist. Side bunks really helps in the wind as well.

Side bunks work well too. Also easy to add. The rollers make a lot of noise underway. At least mine did.

Not quite sure how one would be conspicuous (show off) a frying pan... flava flav style maybe? Reminds of "OG'd" or "overgold'ed" from I'm gonna get you sucka. But if you got the money to spend $400 on a skillet, i'd say life is good. Not my bag though.

I drilled the plug and ran some thick mono with glow as a hanger and viz aid..also painted the plug bright orange. that was I after I got a "I think so, yes" to my "is the plug in..?" We made it out harbor then struggled to plane...easily made it back... gotta love Arimas... Cant miss it now.

There's a guy out here in PA that makes em out of recycle bullets at the gun range. Does down rigger balls also. Affordable. On craigslist. Sells at Swains as well.
