The rod hasn't been for sale and I haven't participated on WFF since the crew split. Some folks get squinty-eyed over custom rods built on a company blank....warranty nonsense, I suppose. I will post some pics this evening. It's a very nice rod without the price tag .

I have a custom vxp in 6 wght made by a member from WFF. Think I used it a couple of times. Bought it for a backup. Happy to send pics if you are interested.

We have a thing called snow tires. Work pretty good even when it's snowing at -20 with a 30mph crosswind. Guess that's why I see alot of Washington people in the ditch. They thought it was flat, no problem.😉🤣

More great info. Use the Opal as a SH or 2H. This would simplify the type of pike fishing I do where sometimes I cast a SH distance but other times I'm wanting to reach as far as I can to cover as much water as possible. Good feedback.

Yep, I am getting two rods.i was uncertain if I could use some of my integrated lines with the OH cast, in particular the Outbound Short. Thanks for that part of your explanation. I fish 10 wght single hand for pike so likely get a corresponding dh rod, and a 7 for trout. Appreciate the feedback.

Standard fare...rainbows, Browns, cutthroat, brookies, carp, pike, walleye. This next year much of the same. I will be very intent upon catching my first tiger muskie. Need to get back in to some bass.

Staying home for the holiday, no travel to West coast or East coast. Means I can fish. Yesterday was challenging weather but the tail end of a mild week so I figured water temps were favorable. Fish were fully charged. One 17" bow nearly took me to my backing.

Still alive after 8 years of living in a unvented kitchen. I think it is a valid discussion but there are plenty of factors that come in to play so no need for hysteria. It isn't a death sentence.

I don't ever mess with enhancing photos. Samsung does its own. Fish pictures vary. Your basic brown, but the color, for whatever reason is nice. Maybe it is the Fall vegetation. Same for this little walleye.
