Starting to plan for fall where I will be headed to Idaho for an extended deer and elk hunt in September. I will need cooler upgrades. Looking towards a cheaper 120-150qt cooler for the meat haul home (6 hours) and a higher quality one for drink/food and also meat haul home (fingers crossed)...

I understand that. My response was directly related to this comment, "Here in Central Oregon drought winters always = a more intensive fire season due to a longer dry season. " I was simply trying to say there are variables. It's not all cut and dry.

wet springs=increased fuel load. Not as simple as dry=bad fire year.
