I have also been shocked at what fluoresces on my tying mat. Took this shot one day when I clicked the light on.

I think I have read some information about them being spooky. I would tie some smaller 8s and some very lightly weighted flies in case they are proving challenging.

There's not a lot to it from what I've seen. Huge range of colors, sizes, anything goes as long as it's tungsten ;-). The idea is to get into the zone quick. There are some neat little squirrel strip jigs out there. I think rabbit would be fine if matched with the appropriate size and weight...
