Spent Thursday and Friday on the Chetco and Elk Rivers on the southern Oregon coast looking for steelhead. However, mother nature was not agreeable. Water flow were extremely high and off color. However, had a great time floating all day in the rain and the wind. :cool:

The river near Warm Springs does close for the winter. Keep an eye on regs....

Just completed Mancation XVI and had an enjoyable six days in Norther Idaho fishing a couple of different rivers and their tributaries. Had fun, ate well, drank well, and caught some fish while experiencing temps from 107 to 69 in those six days. Enjoy the pics.

Ended up going to North Idaho. I will share some pictures in the trip reports section and thanks for all your input.

Thanks for the nice information. We will decide Friday night and for 14 of the last 16 years we have gone to MT. Once we went to Fernie and once the Yakima. Someplace new would be great but we always look forward to MT and hope to make that happen again this summer.

Thanks for the ideas. I wont make up my mind until Friday as we watch the weather and restrictions. Whatever we do I will post pictures.

I don't disagree but the hoot owl restrictions are growing and the forecast is not looking good beginning this weekend :(
