I found using a spray of avocado oil on cooking surfaces, especially non stick, works great. It has a high smoke point (520 degrees) and won’t erode non stick surfaces the way Pam and other non stick sprays do.

I took a class many years ago offered by a fly shop in Seattle. I don’t remember the cost but it gave me a huge boost on targeting SRC and salmon from the beach. I’d call around and see what’s offered.
