Hmmm, I broke the tip section of my 2 piece 9’9” 5wt GL3 a couple years. It was my workhorse rod years. I liked it so much I bought a backup on eBay several years….so I do still have one. But I never investigated if I could get a replacement tip section🤔

I have a switch that I would like to trade for a micro Spey. The switch is just a bit too big. Other than that, I only really swing with a single handed 6 wt and a sink tip. I do occasionally Spey cast with single hand rods, which works fine other then you don’t have the double hand grip

If this is the non refrigerated plastic bottle one, I agree that it’s awesome! I found it at grocery outlet in Salem. Habanero reminds me of Marie Sharps a bit. The verde Hab is great too.

Wide open camping on the beaches….not everywhere is “open” though. Since it’s on the Reservation, everything is dictated by them. They have regs on their site. Pelican is a popular place to camp. Another thing is to be aware of is the sand. You can bury a rig pretty easy.

There are certain spots you can fish from shore without getting in the water…..that’s my style out there. Especially in the winter.
