Hey Otter: The cord I use is a paracord daisy chain. I use Uni-to-Uni knots, each section is 6” long… 3 total sections so the total length is 18”… this gives me enough room to maneuver with the staff, and it isn’t too long so I can easily retrieve the staff if I drop it… Hope this helps…
