@Divad Ok looking at Hardy reels online now. Question reference the Marquis LWT Salmon, for this rod (7 wt), I'm assuming from what I've read I need to upsize for a spey rod so I'd be looking at the Salmon 1 (for a 9/10 wt) ?

I had a great time at the show. I stopped by the booth on Friday morning and picked up a beanie and just renewed my monthly membership. I attended a couple of seminars between both days and went to the banquet on Friday night. I love this show and can't believe it's already another year away.

I had a good time at the show and stayed for the movies. I finally jumped on the band wagon and picked up a Tenkara rod from Tenkara Tanuki. I look forward to trying it out.

Westfly #3 made me laugh. The first time I went to fish the Fernie area the customs agent at the border was grilling me about how much beer I was bringing up. She was surprised I had only a six pack. I told her, I'm fly fishing this is serious business! lol.

There is a Holiday Inn Express and a Comfort Suites next door. I think I stayed at the Holiday Inn last year.

I used to love stopping in at Fins and Feathers when my kid went to college in Bozeman. The fly tying section was always awesome. Hell, I still have a Fins and Feathers tshirt that is one of my favorites. I guess now it will only come out for special occasions since I can't get a replacement!
