Around 49-51 degrees. Was definitly rapidly approaching the end of season. A lot of hikers on shore but very few anglers on water. Just a few rises here and there. I didn't mess with dries or indicators choosing instead to fish how I like to fish.

I fish crawfish religiously in lakes off a type 5. Pattern similar to @Tom Butler but a little beefer. I've had some stupid fun days and many of my biggest fish last several years.

I use an airflo redfish taper to throw my giant bass poppers. Also I like the SA bass line but I think 9 wt is as big as that goes.

Ahrex are sticky and probably my favorite main brand. There was a guy on ebay named hardydeluxe out of BC. I brought thousands of beads and hooks from him for good price through the years. Not sure he is still around but he was an excellent seller and all the hooks and beads were very quality.
