thx i ordered the tube from rec.com. with a 30", i can put 2 rods in, and also put it in luggage if i want to go that route.

i targeted triggers a few times. actually, more when it got cloudy, and challenging to see bones. they were spooky for the most part. i had 2 break off - and i think it was more due to light leader.

its my first time at this lodge, so i dont know if it was shark place. the last lodge i was at , in 2013 was on the lagoon side.

Did a week on xmas island in jan/26. this was my third trip (2003, 2013, and now) . Its definitely changed, more residents, and fishermen. Once out on the water, it seemed like the past trips. the guides make the trip for me, so with a new guide each day, there was 'ok', and better guys...

i live up in hazel dell, lakeshore - let the owls know that there are plenty of squirrels around here, and some dipstick neighbor is feeding em peanuts....

i wonder how much of a meal that is for an eagle? is it out hunting tomorrow for another?? seems like a big meal.

thx for the sharpener recommendation. sharpening is what keeps me away from serrated. i only need one serrated for rafting, and i mostly driftboat, so little need for serrated.
