    What's Catching You Fish?

Dang. Already ordered some, and if your sz 11 Korkers don’t fit, my feet won’t. Otherwise, I’d be on it

    The good boat deal thread

2024 model Scadden boats are on a big sale, like 50% off range. I have an older Scadden and while his specific interpersonal reputation isn’t the best, the boats are very good. I’ve even recently had a very good customer service experience, which is nice.

    What's Catching You Fish?

Lady McConnell did the trick this evening after a ton of bites but no hook ups on a leech. Fish jumped like crazy and jumped out of my grasp before a photo. But I did get this picture

    Snohomish/Skykomish get screwed

The good news is that there will be no jabronis anywhere on those rivers snagging and bonking 10 fish a day all summer while the rest of us honor the regs.

What have you done for your boat lately?

After the second time, when it ran a little bit better (didn’t die and leave me limping in on my trolling motor)...

Not looking for tips, or reports or whatever (of course they are welcome) and pretty sure naming those two lakes isn’t hot spotting, so chill if you’re one of those people. Just want to open up to...

Seems like euro jigs are tied wrong side up

Flounder style - put the eyes, wing case, etc on the side

    WA Stocking Schedule Release?

It has begun...get ready to fight off the shore anglers, get a lot of questions about your float tubes, and dirty looks when the power-baiters have to reel in their lines that they cast across the boat launches when you launch and return. But also it's active fishing so that's worth it. I like...

    2 flies

Stillwater: I will sometimes tie a smaller nymph or spider (especially a Gill Candy) behind a wooly bugger. It's effective but can get messy pulling a streamer with a dropper as they can get tangled up. Rivers: after last season I am committed to dry/dropper rigs in the summer. A simple spider...

    What's in your vise?

Can’t really see the dubbing in the picture but went with a rusty brown ice dub/rusty brown rabbit dubbing mix for the body, antelope for the head/wing, and wine thread this time.

    What's in your vise?

They’re a pain in the ass, but once you get in a rhythm it’s not too bad.

    What's in your vise?

Excuse the poor quality elk hair I used, my bad.
