    SFR Chickens..

    We have 14 of them. They are my wife’s project, so she takes care of them. But they are pretty entertaining and the fresh eggs are great.

    Favorite tippet/leader material?

    In my tackle bag I have Rio, Seaguar, SA, Maxima, and Orvis. Mostly Flouro, but a couple spools of mono for dries. I guess I am not set on one brand, but more of the spools are Rio than the others...... I don't find there to be a huge difference from one to another.....

    My wife and I fished Belize a few years ago. We stayed at a regular resort near San Pedro on Ambergris Caye and fished with Wil Flack, the owner Tres Pescados Fly Shop. It was the best of both worlds for us. Wil would pick us up in the morning at the resort's dock, we would fish most of the day...

    Is my thought process off (Jurassic Lake)?

    I would like to go there some day, but I agree, it does appear to be a little one dimensional. I will probably continue to favor tropical locations for most of my destination fishing. There is usually a lot more variety of species, and the weather is typically hot with a nice breeze.

    Just joined this new (to me) forum. I have always favored the lakes sub-forum on the other site. Glad to see the "talent" is still around.
