As far as Grizz being omnivores, they are in direct competition with an ever expanding population of bipedal creatures that may be taking up that habitat and food niche that the Grizz rely on

Perhaps the Grizz can take the light rail to Carkeek in the fall and feed on the plentiful chum and beavers.

Chums don't care, I actually tip my hook with a chunk of 4 ply Wild Country when fishing Carkeek. It helps keep from snagging up on all the branches and crap the beavers leave behind.
