    NFR Got any Herp pictures?

Matt: Go back on your terms and you will certainly be impressed. So much wildlife to see. Army ants are amazing. We liked the remote areas.

They are pretty snakes. Also found poison dart frogs. CR is incredible. Tapirs, sloths - one with a young one. Bull sharks are a different matter. Saw a saltwater croc swimming up the river with a pelican in it’s mouth. And the birds are incredible. We like remote areas. Out of San Jose ASAP.

    New shirts and stuff

I like tees but don’t do white. Any possibility on a grey option? I still have stickers and I like putting them up. Also have the original hats.

    Coldwater Lake

In my opinion, a water craft is a must. I wouldn’t waste the time for a “fishing” trip without one. Pretty neat trip even if you don’t fish.

Reflecting after other posts on fishing and hunting partners

I fished with you a number of years ago, thanks! Fished up by Mission Ridge. Hope all is well, Dirty Dog!

    Got Shrooms?

Loved it in northeast Oregon where I could go out and cut a couple pounds of morels for our dinner. So nice. Nothing better. Not a mushroom identifying guy but I do know morels.

    Yellowjacket equinox

Bald-faced hornets are the worst! After I sprayed the nest, and ran, they attacked a ceramic mask we had hanging outside (that one of the kids had made) and new it looked like a person that sprayed their nest, me....

    Got any bird pics?

Very nice, Cabezon. We have flickers and pileated in the yard. Had the band tails show up recently. The black-headed grosbeaks finally showed up about 10 days ago. They were very late. I have noted their arrival for many years and this year was the latest they have every showed up.

    Dragonfly On Hat?

We were on lake out of Oroville and kept seeing dragonfly wings floating down. Next thing I see is a Merlin come down, catch one, head back to its tree, pluck the wings and eat it.

    Got any bird pics?

We had a new rookery starting by my office in Burien. Unfortunately, the eagles found where there were young herons. The adults abandoned the potential new rookery.

Had an old fishing buddy that hooked a turtle on a chronie, and landed it at Lenice. Turtle was not happy. Funny stuff.

    Backyard Wildlife

Our weekend entertainment included 6 eagles - 5 adults, 1 immie, a couple of osprey at the same time. Family place, since 1941, on Mason Lake by Shelton. I grew up fishing for just about anything. I don’t fish there any more. To busy with the big boat wakes. Fortunately, a lot of other options.

    Another Spring Fling has flung…

Roper is a great host and the company is stellar. Good friends, good food and some great fishing - for those that don’t break off the “pigs”. Sunsets are extra special..

    Backyard Wildlife

Our kittie brings home bunnies too. Once they leave the warren, they are pretty much on their own. I have a nice area, with plenty of food that I release them. Then there are the owls, hawks and coyotes. All part of the cycle.

    Intel for Chopaka

There a lot of much better options in the area, in my opinion. Chopaka has had better days. Plus, camping spots have been iffy for years. It always bothered me about the big rigs up on the hill.
