In 2017 I bought an Endura Max 45# 36" that has variable speed control. Works great! Found it as a "remanufactured" item on eBay.

I am surprised at the number of other guys who get a free haircut. I married a beautician/barber 53 years ago. While my haircuts are monetarily free, I pay in other aspects. :p

Diamond Lake Campground on the east shore is typically open in the first half of October. The same applies to Thielsen View on the west side of the lake. Closing of the campgrounds is usually defined by when the snow flies, or the daytime freezing weather arrives. An unknown this year is how...

A lot of us fish Diamond in October, and sometimes as late as November. You should do well fishing both the Southwest and Southeast corners.

An advantage of gettin old is hearing aids. Mobile phone conversations go directly to my hearing aids.

Not sure why I have this................ Navisafe Boat Navigation Light I bought this years ago, and have never used it, as by dark I am sitting next to a campfire with beverage in hand. I check the batteries yearly and it still works great. Not cheap but meets all USCG regulations. Not willing...
