    Superglue

I also use the Loctite gel. I didn't know they make super glue with a brush applicator... I don't know what you'd use it for

    What you watching. 😆

Man Down is one of the funniest show's I've seen in a long time. You need some access to BritBox but I go through Prime. We watched every single Doc Martin they made so we're interested in watching the American version. From the trailers, it appears they copied Doc Martin quite well...

    Upcoming Events forum posting rules

They don't have the 2026 schedule up yet. Things seemed to have slowed down after they cancelled the event due to the pandemic years. I'm not involved in the nuts and bolts of flyfishing organizations these days so I'm not up on operation of the event.

    Favorite Fly To Tie?

True that about the WBs. I have found a Royal Wulff tied in parachute style works quite well. Especially in the smaller (size 16) sizes.

    Deer Feeding in Maine

I checked and I don't think Amazon still sells the stuff but what we originally purchased is : Ksqurelnb Deer Repellent After taking at look at this product, I believe it is the same stuff. They're both based on peppermint and garlic oil. USKICH

    Deer Feeding in Maine

We have a number of urban deer in our neighborhood. One of the neighbors does feed them apples and that's fine. Otherwise they have learned to wander from lawn to lawn munching on flowers and other expensive foliage. They kept eating my wife's flowers until we found a deer repellent from...

    How cool is this..

It appears there is water in the floor of the front section. I know if I owned one of the suckers is would leak.

    Fly Fishing Elitism?

At least in Oregon, the number of flyfishing only fisheries is miniscule compared to non-restricted fisheries. I don't see the regulations as to gear use is a problem around these parts.

    License and endorsements

As long as I can remember, Oregon has a yearly approach for the fishing and hunting licenses. Because I'm old and have lived in Oregon all but three years of my life, I qualify for a Pioneer hunting and fishing combo license. When I first got my license a number of years ago, it was free...

How have you adapted to fishing with Age and Medical Challenges?

For a guy who fished at least once or even twice a week during most of the years, aging has not treated me well. Without listing all the reasons I no longer fish as often as I once did (too depressing), I'd say the largest change I've had to make is giving up on fishing moving water and now...

Great "Where were you fishing" Response

I was fishing with the gang and I asked our token really old guy what he was trying to which he replied: "I'm trying to fish."

    Favorite Fly To Tie?

Evidently my favorite must be Woolly Buggers. Otherwise I have no idea why I have 130,000 of the things !

Why are SRC called Harvest Trout?

I believe I've read the same thing. The name I don't understand at all is "blue back". I've yet to catch a SRC with a blue back ... what is up with that? 😳

    Still water Steelheading...

The fishery isn't really a lagoon, but instead a lake. For years, the ODF&W would dump the surplus returning hatchery steelhead in trout lakes near the coast. One is particular was very good to me. Turns out, the longer a steelhead stays in fresh water, the more apt it is to return to...

Wild and NATIVE trifecta on the big D

Looks like a good trip to me. Ah yes, the noble Northern Pike Minnow. I always think I've hooked a big fish until the fight suddenly dies and I realize it's a NPM. It was many, many moons ago that Deke Meyer and myself found that the Deschutes redsides would park behind the spawning...

Day Trip to the Lady M

Oddly enough, I've been to where most those photos were taken. That river taught me flyfishing. And it is one of the most beautiful rivers I've ever fished nor ever will fish at my age. Thanks for the time trip.

    SBS Tom's Jiggy Craw

They look good to me too .... but humans don't count. As long as they look like something to eat to a fish then they are a success.
