Spent a couple days on the west end swinging. Kinda in-between for run timing, knowing that my expectations were modest, couple small cutty's and a small dolly to hand with a missed grab or two. But man I love it out there when it's not prime time, nobody there, covered alot of ground tromping...

I forgot about Blade Runner for a sec, what a great movie. I think it was based off a Philip K Dick sci fi novel but can't remember for sure.

Couple of little trout swingers.

Nice ties, I really enjoy tying this pattern and fishing it. The movement and profile on the swing is outta site and really effective on pretty much everything that swims in our west side rivers fall to spring.

A few from the last two mornings, on the clouser.

2/4 this afternoon on the Stonedfish clouser, that pattern looks really good in the water. All smallish ones but fun all the same.

The guy had a hard time getting launched but once he got out there just ripped it, pretty impressive. I got a couple cutties early before being blown off the beach I was on and then drove around and found him on an otherwise deserted beach. Pretty cool to watch him do his thing.
