Well he got his second one today. He saw a buck running with two does and blew his call to stop them. They stopped and he dropped the buck. I told him a couple years ago that he could get them to stop with the call. He remembered! I'm still striking out. :rolleyes:

We have a 6.5 Creedmoor and it's a great light-recoiling round. I also have a .243 Win and it recoils even less but is nowhere as versatile as the 6.5 CM. You must've had a pretty light rifle for recoil to be a factor from that round.

I don't want muzzle break because the muzzle blast is increased so much. It's as bad as the recoil. The older I get the more I appreciate light-recoiling rounds.
