Stillwater indicator watchers: What's your approach?

Buzzy and I figure either he was rabid or psychotic. Wouldn't leave us alone!

    Winter Subalpine Hike

Thanks for all of the information. After researching new tubes to death I bit the bullet and ordered a Fat Cat LCS. I know it will be trouble free and I won't have to wonder if I made the right purchase. I like the urethane bladders and the overall size/features. As I said my other Outcast boat...

    Winter Subalpine Hike

Great report. Makes me long for a little warmer weather. I've been researching new tubes. I like the Cumberland's open area on top of the pontoons. I like to attach a fly rod holder and sonar to the tube and the Fat Cat, and other Fat Cat type wannabe's don't have much space in front of the...

    Favorite float tube?

I've seen the Decathlon tube on the internet. It does look interesting.

    Favorite float tube?

Thanks for the suggestion. Patrick also suggested cutting the legs down.

    Favorite float tube?

Ouch ya.... had to slip my hands between the rope and tube for padding.

    Favorite float tube?

That's good to know. I wouldn't want to have to carry tube without straps.

    Favorite float tube?

I'll give it another try. I'll probably still upgrade to a new tube, but maybe I can give my son my old tube without a leak. Thanks

    Favorite float tube?

That's actually before I added the pontoon stiffener to prevent the apron from collapsing on my lap. It works great, but makes getting in and out of the tube with fins on somewhat of an art. I had a good photographer with me that day.

    Favorite float tube?

I've been using the same old Outcast tube since the late 90's. It's so old it doesn't say Fishcat, Fatcat or anything but "Outcast Sporting Goods" on the side. It has a very slow leak in one bladder but is good for all day+. I can't find the leak and Outcast doesn't make replaceable bladders for...

    Carp - The golden bonefish

Great photos. Here's one of what Buzzy and I affectionately call an Elephant Carp taken almost 20 years ago.

    Carp - The golden bonefish

Great write up Pat. Look forward to warm weather and wet wading.

    Carp - The golden bonefish

Agree, on foot for me is tough as I'm a little height challenged. The glare while looking across the water makes it tough to see feeding fish. I much preferred standing on the bow of Buzzy's boat that he no longer has!!! Still, stalking quietly upon a wary Carp, and dropping a fly in front of...

    Kamloops boat option

Ya there's no way I could push my boat up onto a canopy. I run out of length pretty quickly just pushing my boat up onto my tonneau cover.

    Kamloops boat option

Kinda like this..... Put rollers on the Yak bars and made a pvc roller loader that attaches to the rear bar.

Any comments or opinions on Buck's River Ghost or Fish Cat Panther pontoons?

It's organized clutter and yes I wish I had more room. I've built two lofts inside and they're full too.

Any comments or opinions on Buck's River Ghost or Fish Cat Panther pontoons?

I put PVC over both of my Yakima bars for rollers. The Yakima bars are installed over my roll-up tonneau cover. The PVC thingy roller is in three pieces. The two pieces that support the PVC roller slip over each end of the rear Yakima bar. A PVC roller is installed between the two PVC supports...
