Awesome Dogs of PNW

My 4 daughters. The lab was my excuse to fish Idaho 6 years ago as I bought her on Facebook and picked her up in Twin Falls. The fishing was great and what a vacation even with the speeding ticket! lol The pointers are from N.M. and are now 5 yrs old and hella hunters. They are sister's with personalities plus. What a blast they are. And then comes the old girl of the bunch, Abby the Britany, she likes Dove! She's the sweetheart of the bunch! She got a haircut right after this picture was taken.siggynraven.jpgmenbabbybella.jpgabbeyndove.jpg

The little gremlin known as Juniper just hit the 20lb mark...growing fast!

They do grow fast. Unfortunately, they run faster and are harder to catch when they get bigger.
No kidding!! This little gremlin likes to play keep away with shoes. She doesn't chew on them, just keeps them away from humans...

Could be worse, Randy . . . We once had a Shi-Tzu/Chainsaw cross that taught an entire family to keep leather items well out of reach. I replaced several pairs of Birkenstocks, 1 Kamiakin Letter Jacket and numerous belts (I still have one with teeth marks . . .).

Pete showing some of his possum heritage
Aren't there a few patterns that call for "possum"? You should trim some and check it out....although, perhaps that's what prompted the above reaction...

I lost a favorite hand made Columbian leather wallet to the chewings of our Bassett, Rosey. It had been given to me as a birthday present by a little girl in Panama who thought I should marry her mother . I'd had it for almost 30 years at that point and it was still going strong.

My English setter and my wife's Great Pyrenees couch potato. My setter is a pretty good bird dog.View attachment 34174
Great Pyrs are wonderful dogs .. I would occasionally swear when watching Seahawks football :D . Ours would become concerned for my mental state and jump into my lap and lick my face - all 130lbs of her. I miss that dog and am still finding her white hairs around the house.

Oh, you just described ours to a T. Very caring dogs, almost "soft" compared to my setter. And yes, dog hair EVERYWHERE, no matter how much we brush him. Absolutely wonderful dogs.

My wife's berner. A neighbor moved of state and couldn't take her. So my wife happily took her in.
