2026 Gardening Growing Thread

Root cuttings are the way to go with Raspberries, you'll be sure of getting the plant you want.
That's how I got mine. They were purchased by my grandmother originally then passed to my mom's garden and eventually mine. I'm not sure what variety they are but the canes fruit twice this year's new canes are fruiting now and will fruit again in early summer next year then be done. I end up pruning 14 month old canes once per year in July.
 
Had a surprise crop of those little tomatoes in the back yard where the dirt patch was. My guinea pigs old hay was thrown out there, maybe had some uneaten mini tomatoes that Missy had. It is a wonder those little poops were good fertilizer. Daughter picked a gallon of the ripened minis. 1791694595490.png
