Love this book. My first trout on a fly was a searun cutt. Early 80s in the Willapa River. I had read this book often prior to this.

I send a DM with some info I have but also a great place to dig for north sound info is from Scott and Brandon at Confluence in Bellingham.

Second going down to confluence and plunking down some dough. Brandon knows his beach fishing better than anyone else I know from up here and they are both Grade A dudes

Stopped in at Confluence today, Brandon is a class act. Had a really good conversation with him and picked up a fly box and some flies for my first attempt. Definitely appreciate the recommendation, and will be visiting many more times I'm sure.

Consider booking a trip with Gig Harbor fly shop and fishing out of sea kayaks. It will give you a good idea of what to look for.

Got out for my first attempt with Offensivename, we gave it a good 3 hours but the water was very cloudy, not much going on. Saw one fish blow up. Will try again soon!
