Wow that sounds like I felt when hustled to get a nearly sold out shadowman tour by Link Wray in 1998 -chrystal ballroom in Portland. When you can say you saw legends it feels good even if you just recall the long ago impression.
This is a great song! Tom Waits did his own version of it, too.

I own all the Tom waits lps with these songs . Been collecting waits a long time . John Hammond has always been of interest but have not jumped on acquiring until recently with this one with Tom and a couple early ones always been a collector since 1963 with Dion and months later Meet the Beatles and off I went and still have most of them
