I was listening to a GE Smith interview about his time as Band and music lead on SNL and sort of a life story . Fascinating and he mentioned a phenomenal regional band The Bottle Rockets. I have collected many regional bands music- a few favorites: SF- the Loud Family, the Radiators new Orleans, and Crack the Sky Boston I believe, many many more.

Bought this amazing lp by mail order around mid 1989 pressed in Germany. Limited press first . Called the source contact in a article in Rolling Stone and placed My order over the phone. It is phenomenal and a hell of a lot easier to find and order

68 damn years old and have heard this song hundreds of times and never knew until today that the intro actually contains lyrics. I always thought it was just synthesizer noise. If you read them while listening to the intro, it's pretty cool!

The clock struck midnight
