You'd have to be crazy to eat anything from the Spokane River. Loads of heavy metals from the Silver Valley Superfund site, PCB's, and PFAS...all bioaccumulative toxics. Then throw in the fact that the City of Spokane cheaped out on their new Tertiary Membrane treatment plant, intentionally designing it with insufficient capacity during high flow rainfall events...requiring bypasses of poorly treated wastewater. I'll never understand how Ecology dropped the ball on approving that one.....Only problem is eating from waters with food advisory. I love boiled crawfish, seen so many in Spokane River. But…
